Mongolian Fact-checking Center is one of Mongolia's first fact-checking initiatives run by Nest Center for Journalism Innovation and Development NGO. Mongolian Fact-checking Center's vision is to increase the media literacy of the public, help them to use information as a tool to improve their livelihoods by the act of fact-checking, decrease the spread on misinformation. Apart from its daily operation, Mongolian Fact-checking center also carries out in-person and online trainings for potential volunteer fact-checkers. They also took part in a nation-wide research on the "State of misinformation during Mongolia's parliamentary election of 2020", led by the Press Institute of Mongolia. They try to engage in surveys and researches that will help them better understand the state of misinformation and media literacy in Mongolia and in Asia as much as possible.
